Research activities
The
mission of this laboratory is to produce innovative materials for dense
storage, transportation and efficient conversion of energy from the viewpoints
of cascade utilization and process integration, in which the combustion
synthesis of nonstoichiometric compounds, such as Perovskite with defect, is chiefly investigated,
controlling chemical compositions of the product accurately. The overall
processes of proposed system are evaluated based on the exergy
theory, sustainability and controlling of carbon dioxide emission to mitigate
global warming.
Main research subjects:
1) Development of hydrogen production system and hydrogen storage materials.
2) Combustion synthesis of Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) related materials.
3) Development of latent heat storage system by using phase change material (PCM) for heat transportation.
4) Development of thermoelectric transducer based on combustion synthesis.
5) Design of ecological industrial complex with cooperation of different industries and citizenfs utilization.
